I thought this was the internet, the land of the free
megameanie asked: Haha, oh dear! :') uhm, well I'm going to Leeds College of Art to study Graphic Design. I'm not entirely sure what i want to do when I graduate, but I think I may decide to set up my own design business or something like that :) So are you still based in Leeds?
Ahh, I wish i’d gone to the college. Their course is far better than the one at the Uni, they always produce good work so you’ve chosen well. Also, a lot of their lecturers still work as designers which helps a lot. Leeds is a wicked city too. You should check out thisiscatalogue.co.uk who are doing some really cool stuff, qubik.com, whos a lecturer at the college and weareboxhead, another cool studio; all leeds based.
Yeah im still in Leeds. I’ve worked for a couple of design agencies here since graduating, now Im freelance but looking to move to Manchester or London this year and settle at an agency. That’s the plan anyway!
