This was an amazing gig.
Last tuesday I saw Godspeed you!black emperor at Manchester Academy. This video isn’t from then, this is from the ATP that they played this week. Anyway, it was fucking incredible. That’s really the only way to describe it. We got there a bit late, just catching the end of the first song but luckily we managed to get a good spot by edging down the side :) I feel so lucky to have managed to see this band live. I figured that if I didn’t see them on this tour I might never get the chance again. Seeing a band like this, the experience goes beyond simply hearing a song being played.

Saw these guys at Damnation 2010, they were amazing.

Absolutely immense. Need to get tickets sorted asap for these in December.

I saw these guys play on thursday night at the Brudenell Social club in Leeds. It was completely mindblowing.
They came onstage, played an amazingly epic set and then left without saying a word.
They should probably be classed as composers as they are easily making some of the best, most intricate music around today. Give this a watch.
